About TEFL Global

Who we are

TEFL Global is a trading name of Edventure Abroad Limited. It was founded by Jonathan Siddall and launched in 2026, built on Global English (est. 1997) and its course content, as a partner.

TEFL Global offers tutor-marked online TEFL/TESOL courses, with a focus on helping graduates find government teaching programmes and jobs worldwide. Our guides cover programmes such as EPIK, JET, TFETP and NALCAP, plus country-by-country salary, visa and certificate requirements.

How we work with Global English

• Global English courses and platform. Global English (est. 1997) is a UK online TESOL school based in Exeter that trains English teachers. TEFL Global runs on the Global English platform, which handles the course catalogue, student accounts and checkout, and our courses use Global English's course content.
• ACTDEC accreditation. Every TEFL Global course except the 10-hour Enter English introductory course is covered by Global English's ACTDEC accreditation, which Global English has held since 2004. The main courses are the 120-hour Level 3, 150-hour Level 4 and 250-hour Level 5 TESOL courses. See our accreditation page for what that means and how to check it.
• Certificates. Certificates are moderated by ACTDEC and issued by Global English, and can be checked at global-english.com/verify/.

Our courses are not Ofqual-regulated qualifications and are not equivalent to CELTA.

How we work

• Every course is online and self-paced.
• Assignments are marked by a real tutor, not just auto-graded, and you can contact your tutor directly.
• Assessed teaching practice is not part of the Level 5 course. It is available as a separate add-on course.
• Each course page shows a 14-day refund window. See our Terms and Conditions for the full policy.
